Brothers Pizza and Pasta is, in my opinion the best all around Italian/Pizza restaurant in State College. The portions are huge and the service is usually excellent. They aren't the cheapest place to eat, but it's well worth it. While I haven't had a bad thing to eat here, let me suggest a good meal. App- Garlic Knots, Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms, and Cannoli for dessert. Some extras, side of spaghetti with meat sauce, Sausage Parm, and you cannot go wrong with their pizza! (Side note: their Large Pizza is bigger than most places XL. ) All in all, seriously the best Italian food in State College.

Come here for lunch very often and I have no clue why I keep coming back. Without fail every time I order water with no lemon they always give me lemon. One time she gave me extra lemon. Today when I ordered my water I watched as she turned on the sink and poured me water straight from the faucet!!!! This place is ridiculous.

Definitely one of the best of the Brothers restaurants in town. The downside is they do not offer delivery, but they have a cute eat-in area and takeout is always ready quite quickly. The food is delicious (great pizza, subs/wedges, salads) and their bread/dough is just incredible. PS: They also have gluten free pizza!

We've been here many times for take out and to eat in, and it's always solid. Pizza is good- the sauce has a nice flavor and the toppings (at least the veggie ones) are good quality. In fact, I think they have upped their sauce game a bit- I was definitely getting oregano and basil with the last pie. Nice. The chicken cheesesteaks are perfectly fine, except that they obviously use pizza dough to make the rolls, which, if not bad, is at least slightly odd. It tastes fine, I guess, but it turns out really puffy and I always end up throwing a lot of it away because it's just way too much bread. In any event, it's still certainly an okay cheesesteak for this area. Be careful how you order it or you may end up with all manner of mayo, lettuce, etc., on it. That's not Brothers' fault though- everyone around here puts weird stuff on a cheesesteak. The wraps, wedges, and other sandwiches are also good, and takeout is usually quick. It's a little awkward to get into the parking lot (I've lived here for years and I always manage to pass it and have to turn around), so be aware of that. Oh, and it's byob.

I went to Brother's pizza on a Saturday afternoon, and my experience was great! The decor was nice, and their prices seemed to be very good. I got a Sicilian Slice special ~$5 for two HUGE slices of Sicilian pizza (the very thick dough square pizza) and a drink. My husband ordered their medium stromboli and it was also HUGE. We were very happy that ~$12 paid for our lunches and take-home for dinner later on! They also had the best pizza I've had in State College, and the service was quick and very friendly. Can't go wrong!

Brothers Pizza & Pasta is my favorite place to go for a cheeseburger sub. They are my favorite thing on the menu besides Brothers pizza. When our family has their reunion here in town, we order dinner from Brothers Pizza & Pasta, and 2 of the guys go and pick it up. We all enjoy the great food from there!!! The restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing as well. Plus, great waitresses!!!

My co-worker and I were in search of a hearty, non-fast food restaurant for lunch a couple weeks ago, and I stumbled upon good reviews of Brothers Pizza and Pasta. I was a little unsure when I walked into the place.... The decor is absolutely terrible! It's very dark and outdated, like it was decorated as an Italian restaurant in the 1980s. There were also fake plastic plants everywhere. However, thought at first I was really turned off, I couldn't help but be amused by it all a few minutes later. I ordered the Spinach Ravioli and really enjoyed it. It was a good portion and very tasty. I also can't complain about the fluffy garlic rolls brought to the table as well. Service was also pretty quick for a set-down restaurant serving up Italian food. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would return!

This the best Brothers in the State College area. Located in a small strip mall on East College Ave right before the Nittany Mall. I know the address says Benner Pike, but its on the other side of the Y on College Ave. Its several miles from downtown State College so you don't have to deal with the student crowd and no parking. They have the formula down pat for great food and fast service. Many of the Servers have worked there for years, know the menu, and are on top of things. This places is so much better than other "chain" restaurants. Privately owned, and they want you to come back!

I'm not sure where to begin. I've never had a bad meal, the servers are excellent. I have even asked for ibuprofen and my server brought me some in a ramekin. When we come here, we often get an extra entree so we have something to eat the following day. Good eats: pizza with bacon topping, wedges, subs, pastas, and salads. I've had a lot of the menu items and they're all good! The parking here is ample and the location is very convenient.

Went here with family and food was okay - not great, not bad, but fell in the middle. Had the stromboli which was a bit too cheesy for my taste and fam had lasagna which they said was okay as well, but not great. If I ate here again, I'd be inclined to order the pizza as it sounds like that is what they better know for...

Went here tonight with my family. Loved it. My husband had a Stromboli, my son bbq wings and my daughter had a small pizza and everyone loved their food. But I wanted to make special mention that I the gluten free pizza and it was fantastic!!

Each Brother's Pizza is independently owned and operated, so they all vary a little. This location has the best dining arrangement. It's less of a pizza shop and more of a full blown restaurant. Nothing beats NY style from New York, but Brothers is about as close as you can get to it in State College. The other three locations have better pizza, but this one's claim to fame is a better overall menu and dining experience. The pizza is good, but at this location I'd encourage others to try the full range of the menu. Unlike the other locations they have a *real* kitchen here. My wife got pasta with meatballs that was good! I tried a couple pizza slices and was less impressed, but still satisfied. I don't frequent this location much. In fact, unlike the other Brother's Pizza locations that I've frequented consistently, I've only been to this one twice. Once many, many years ago, and again recently after settling into their nicely remodeled location. That's mostly due to their inconvenient location in relation to the rest of State College. Still, this is probably the best place to go for pizza on this side of State College for the Bellefontians out there. My other Brother's Pizza reviews... Brother's NY Style Pizzeria: 4/5 204 E College Ave: yelp.com/biz/brothers-ny… ====================================== Brother's Pizza: 5/5 238 W Hamilton Ave: yelp.com/biz/brothers-pi… ====================================== Original Brother's Pizza: 4/5 231 Northland Ctr: yelp.com/biz/original-br…

I LOVE their pizza. The sausage that they use isn't the typical sausage that you may find on pizza and it is awesome. Brother's pizza is great!

This is the best pizza joint in State College! Way better than all the other Brothers locations. The Pizza and Subs are always excellent! We usually get the bread sticks with mozzarella cheese as an app. The pasta dinners are pretty good, but I usually stick with pizza/sub. The salads are just ok. The service is usually great. The place has a nice homemade/family vibe. The servers care and are not just watching the clock. Overall one of my favs in town for lunch or a great pizza!
